FIFO and DIDO families who work with The Seamless Blend tell us some of their most difficult challenges include: trying to stay family-connected through relentless cycles of geographical distance and long working days; integrating to home life without disruption to family routine and returning to 'normal life' without family/a parent; maintaining an intimate and connected partnership and co-parent 'from the same page' while accepting huge periods of 'alone time'; and fears of infidelity.
Our FIFO services focus on strengthening communication, connection, parenting strategies and supporting the emotional load that grows for both partners in FIFO work environments. This focus comes from our families sharing the pressure they feel to: reconnect quickly, the strain on closeness and parenting; and the sense of distance that builds when family life is continuously interrupted by work demands.

Our Professional Services include: Workforce Training on ‘Complex Families - how to best work with blended families/single parents’. We also offer, Employee Support Programs (EAP) Packages, Innovative partnership that benefit your school community, and Interactive Seminars featuring a Family Lawyer Guest Speaker to support you and your team better understand and respond to the complex needs of the complex families you work with everyday.

What We Do
The Seamless Blend recognises the difficulties families face when navigating significant familial disruption and the emotional hardships experienced by some blended families, newly single parents, and those parenting through infidelity.
We understand that sometimes, as parents and co-parents - we just don't have all the answers, and other times, sudden shock, deep relational turmoil, insecurity, ongoing frustration, or substantial uncertainty, can make it very challenging to parent and maintain all family dynamics. Balancing the needs of various personalities or being attentive to children's hard questions while meeting their every requirement can become overwhelming. We also know this natural sense of overwhelm can add to feelings of guilt for parents and step parents. The Seamless Blend provides a safe space for support, learning and connection.
